We discovered these beautiful blue-green Opals at the very top of Angel Mountain. We didn't know what they, but we knew they were special! They resembled raw saphires but not, no experts seem to recognize what they were, it was really a mystery. We finally had to send them out for analysis and were really suprized, and pleased that they were opals! They are in a verticle vein surrounded by volcanic tuff.
This area is very beautiful, wild as well as being near ancient cave paintings. This entire area is sacred to Shamanic tribes who visit this area once a year for cerimonies at the cave painting site.
We found two types of the opal there is a bubbly type with round nodules shown below and smooth that we polish. Both have wonderful healing energy.
Opals enhance and induces psychic & mystical visions. It is a Karmic stone and teaches this. An emotional stabalizer it brings out your creativity and enhances love. Strengthens the will to live in healing and is used in treating Parkinson's disease. Good for PMS.
